Prague, Czech Republic (8 Bechynova, Prague 6)
After walking over 20,000 steps yesterday, I decided to take it easy today. I finished up my laundry and did more travel research. Also, finished binge watching Lost in Space.
Other than that, I went for a walk later in the afternoon to explore this part of Prague. I was interested in finding out what was connected to the top of a building I could see from the balcony. After walking a few blocks I discovered that it was the Hotel International Prague and it is considered to be the largest “Socialist realism” building in Prague. (I had to look up “Socialist realism”.)
From this hotel I continued to walk around this district and then back to the flat. Walked less than 10,000 steps, which was fine with me. After I came back and took a shower, I finished the soup that I had made yesterday. Then took a nap.
I started to research what else to see in Prague and decided that tomorrow I’ll walk down to the Charles Bridge and see a little of Prague’s old town. I watched a few YouTube videos that suggested places to visit. I’ll be closer to old town when I move to my next Airbnb on Tuesday and will finish my visit of Prague in that part of the city.
After I finished the last of the Lost in Space episodes I went to bed. Hope I can sleep better on the futon tonight.
