Another cold and foggy morning in Budapest. Was looking forward to some sunshine and warmer weather today. Guess I just need to be a little more patient. Lesson learned.

So, off I went this morning at 8:15 for my 10:00 a.m. dentist appointment. Without going into too much detail, the procedure is split into two days – first one side is done and then, on the next day, the other. The people at Kreativ Dental Clinic are very helpful and kind. I was in and out within an hour. Then, needed to wait until the novacane, or whatever is used, goes away.

When I got home, I realized I didn’t have my scarf with me. I remember taking it with me this morning. I had to wait until later to call the clinic when the numbness had subsided so I could be understood  ver the phone. I called the clinic after I had a nap, but they couldn’t find the scarf and I said I’d call back tomorrow. I have so few things with me, and when anything goes missing, I feel the loss. I’ll check with them again tomorrow.

Made my daily trip to the store to pick up a few items. Good to get out for a walk. Was able to get in over 10,000 steps today. I’ll be back to the gym tomorrow.

Forgot to mention that I found some Worcestershire sauce last night at the local store in the marina – who knew? Beef stew and Shepherds Pie will be on the menu in the next week or so.  (Not Lea and Perrins brand, but happy to have Heinz in my cupboard.)

The dental procedure really takes a lot out of me. Just woke from my second nap of the afternoon. Some more rest tonight, and a dose of Gulyas (Goulash), should do the trick.
