Cold and overcast this morning. Got a good night’s sleep last night and slept into 7:00 a.m. – rather than wake at 4:00 a.m. and not able to go back to sleep. Very happy about this. Really started off my day right!
Finished a project with my attorney today – just some financial stuff and not a legal problem. Though it involved getting something printed off, then I sign, then send back a scanned copy and mail the original signed document. Easy? Having only a smart phone and a chromebook, I have some limitations. Plus, the UK uses A4 paper (not 8 1/2 by 11) so that added a complexity. Also to find a business who could print and scan was not easy. In the end, got it done. Just another example of how something easy in the U.S. takes a little more finesse to accomplish in another country. But it keeps me busy and my mind active – thinking about the different ways to solve a problem. In the end, everyone I worked with was super nice and helpful. I’ll write a review of the firm who helped with the printing and scanning. I like writing good reviews – and so helpful for someone like me who looks at reviews as part of my decision-making.

I have some gaps to fill in between some of the dates, but will have fun doing that later. Also, not sure if my brother will join me sometime in January, so keeping most of that month open for now. Also found out some friends will be coming to Italy in late August / early September, so I’ll have that trip to plan.
Having leftover Hungarian Goulash tonight with some brown rice. Last night, just had a few small snacks (a couple of pieces of toast, then apples and cheese) since I was so full from my earlier lunch.
